I am sitting in the saloon of LOVIS, it’s eleven o’clock pm, last night I am on board as tomorrow we plan to reach Narva where my journey ends. It has been an extremely exciting time which I had here, in the company of the great teams of Moviemiento, MBS, Plotki and the LOVIS team. Now I realize that the last five days I have not had any negative feelings except being tired and quite afraid. I was really frightened during the first night when the weather was more windy than usual. And, yeah – it was actually the first time in my life I travelled by sea. I spend much time during these days just looking at the sea surface, sometimes with the feeling of it as a huge, complex, alive organism.

It all began when we – a small group of friends – decided to take part in the 48 hour film contest, which was held in Riga as a part of MBS activities. Our film was ready in 24 hours, we handed it in and went out of city to an open air party, but on sunday evening returned for the films’ screening. To our great surprise the winners offered us to go on a trip with LOVIS instead of them. Within 10 minutes the decision was taken and I haven’t regreted it in any moment.

During these days I got used to the life on the ship. I liked the vegetarian meals for 25 persons, it’s much fun cooking when the horizontality of the floor changes I enjoyed most of the time I spent on watches and I really loved the possibility to observe both the sunset and sunrise in the peaceful and calm surrounding of the friendly people and the Sea. I am really surprised meeting all the cool people here and I admire them in many ways. Respect, guys! This journey will definitely influence the further changes of my already changing life-long trip
Thanks and love to all of you!
